Dr. Tarece Johnson-Morgan is a distinguished diversity, equality, equity, inclusion, justice, healing, belonging, and liberation (DEEIJHBL) expert, educator, and social justice leader. She also serves in a leadership capacity on one of the largest school boards in the nation.
With over 25 years of experience in corporate, nonprofit, public, and educational spaces, she has developed and implemented equity-focused strategies that foster inclusive excellence in organizations.
She is the founder of Global Purpose Approach and was the founder of Global Purpose Academy and one of the co-founders of Peninsula International Academy in Belize, institutions dedicated to building global-minded leaders. She has worked extensively in corporate diversity training, public policy advocacy, K-12 education, and leadership development. Her consulting work includes collaborations with government agencies, companies, educational institutions, and community organizations to implement policies and programs that advance civil rights, justice, and liberties.
Tarece Johnson-Morgan is originally from Houston, Texas. After graduating from Sterling High School, she lived in Puerto Rico and attended La Universidad del Sagrado Corazon. She then went on to pursue graduate studies, earning a MPA from Columbia University in New York City, a MBA from Emory University, and an EdD from Capella University. She also has several certifications in mental health and wellbeing.
Dr. Johnson-Morgan is also a prolific author and artist. She is VP of Black Arts, Culture, & Education, Inc. Dr. Tarece Johnson-Morgan is a writer and speaker, frequently contributing articles on DEI, social justice, leadership, and cultural competency. Her writings include prominent perspectives on mindsets, multilingual learning, multicultural engagement, internalized racism, and eradicating bigotry. Her articles can be found on Medium: The Global Purpose Approach where she discusses strategies for navigating complex social issues and fostering inclusive communities.
Her art includes reflections of history, culture, and the times. Through her work, she continues to champion the intersection of art, activism, and mental health while advocating for justice, empowerment, and holistic well-being, striving to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable world where wellness and self-expression are accessible to all. She infuses her artistry, brilliance, and empathy in creating deep connections as she engages in her work at GPA to make a difference.
Andy Morgan, Esq is the principal and founding attorney of The Morgan Law Group, PC. Andy has practiced law for over 30 years. He is a member of the Georgia and New York State Bars.
Andy began his law career as an associate at a prominent New York based law firm. He then served as general counsel to a privately owned company.
Andy has served as an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau in New York City and as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Andy also served for over eight years in the military as a soldier in the ordinance branch of the United States Army Reserve.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Cooper Union School of Engineering in New York and a law degree from The New York University School of Law. He is also a graduate of the Empire State Military Academy and Leadership Gwinnett.
Andy is also actively engaged in the community. He is the founder of Black Art, Culture & Education, Inc. He has also served on the Board of Gwinnett County Habitat for Humanity, on the Board of the Gwinnet Chamber of Commerce, as an Area Manager for the Gwinnett County Board of Elections, as a Volunteer Attorney on occasion for the Gwinnett Legal Aid Society, and as a youth soccer coach.
